WX-78 eats gears to regain health, sanity, and hunger. WX-78 loses electricity when they starve, and when they fail. They are a self-sustaining automaton that hates all living matter. They are also one of the playable Characters in Dont Starve Together (DST). If they get too wet, WX-78 runs out of power and gets healthy. WX-78 is the fifth playable Character in Dont Starve unlockable via Experience, with 960 XP. This meter is remodeled over time and can be restored by another means. The WX-78s circuits have their electricity-efficient charge meter. The Bio Scanalyzer is also producing Bio Data, which can be used to create circuits, alongside material from the scanned organic.

WX-78 learns how to construct circuits by scanning organics with its bio-scanalyzer. Unfortunately, it means removing any charge that the circuits were taking up! WX-78 can take advantage of an extractor to extract their circuits. WX-78 can easily develop circuits that can be incorporated to unlock special abilities.
